Kay represented the Scottish Human Rights Commission at the 25th Regular Session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva and presented a National Institution perspective at the Justice for Children panel on 13 March 2014.
In 2007, 35 years after the broadcast of TV Reporter Max Hasting’s Documentary, Kay as Chair of the Commission of Racial Equality, re-traced his steps in Leicester to guage how views on immigration had changed.
